PLANS have been submitted to convert a popular Newquay guesthouse into a home.

A planning application has been proposed for Trewinda Lodge in Eliot Gardens, which involves the change of use from guesthouse to single dwelling house.

The external appearance of the building will not change.

Newquay Town Council is due to put forward its thoughts on the planning application as a consultee at its meeting on Wednesday, January 8.

Cornwall Council is due to have the final say on the plans.
