A NEW store has opened at White River Place in the centre of St Austell.

The opening has been welcomed by White River Place manager Bill Holland who said: “Sky-Coll is an independent family-run Cornish lifestyle store.”

The business sells jewellery and associated items.

Meanwhile, White River Place has recently played host to some of the activities staged during the St Austell Festival of Children’s Literature.

In a message to the festival organisers, Bill said: “May I congratulate you on a fantastic event. The team and I were really pleased to see how well supported your festival was and would happily do it all again.”
