THE St Austell Society of Artists are holding their annual art exhibition in Charlestown from Saturday, July 20 to Friday, July 26 — coinciding with Regatta Week.
The organisation is celebrating their 50th year as an art society, and this will be our best show yet.
The exhibition is being held in the Pattern Hall on Foundry Drive, from 10am to 5.30pm each day.
There is sure to be something for everyone with original art, prints, greetings cards and opportunity to meet artists and learn more about what they create and what inspires them.
The event showcases the amazing talent of the society members who are all based in the St Austell area, and include amateur through to professional artists working in a broad range of styles and mediums.
There will be landscapes and seascapes inspired by Cornwall and beyond, still life, portraiture, etchings, collage, wildlife art and abstracts.
With art in oils, watercolours, pencil, coloured pencil, acrylics, pastel and much more, there is something for all tastes and budgets, and plenty to inspire the creativity in artists too.
