THS ambassador for St Austell's Keep Britain Tidy campaign, Pat Smith, has really cleaned up during the annual Great British Spring Clean.
Pat, aka Action Nan, set herself a target of collecting 40 bags of rubbish and smashed the target with the help of other volunteers from the St Austell Tidy Up Team.
Litter was collected from all over St Austell and the surrounding parishes.
Pat said: "I am passionate about the legacy we are leaving for our children and grandchildren as we carelessly contaminate our local area with rubbish.
“I’m doing what I can with wonderful support from the three local litter picking groups I help organise. At least we are doing something rather than just moaning about it.”
St Austell Tidy Up team founder and Cornwall Councillor James Mustoe said: "Pat is an inspirational character who inspires us all to get up and go out and love where we live and it was great to help her reach her target of 40 sacks of rubbish picked up from around St Austell.
"Community litter picking is a great way to get outside, meet new people and do your bit to look after where you live. Follow the St Austell Tidy Up Team on Facebook for details of upcoming events.”
