Hold onto your lightsabers, dust off your Cosplay costumes and get ready to experience the magic of geek culture at a new summer festival.

Geek Expo will take place on June 14 and 15 at Stithians Showground, celebrating all things pop culture: comics, movies, anime, video games, collectibles, re-enactments, a Viking camp and more.

Event organiser Mark Martin has been attending similar festivals for years. “There's a whole universe of fandom and a real camaraderie - I want to bring it to Cornwall,” he says.
