FILM fans are being offered an entertaining evening out at the cinema while helping two local charities at the same time.
Newquay's Lighthouse Cinema is showing the ever-popular musical Grease with all proceeds shared between the Trenance Cottages and the NSPCC on Thursday, March 13, at 7.30pm.
The lively 1978 classic features a youthful John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John.
The cost is of a ticket is £15 and includes a pasty and a glass of wine.
A spokesperson for the cottages said: “It should be a great evening and all in aid of two local good causes. Get your tickets without delay.
“They're going like greased lightning.”
