A NEWQUAY youth football club has come out on the attack after their facilities were vandalised.
Newquay Youth AFC is appealing for help to identify a vandal who spray painted their changing rooms and canteen at the St Columb Minor Recreation Ground. It is the second time its facilities have been targeted.
Gill Treweek, a committee member at Newquay AFC Youth, said: “We would like the disrespectful person who did this to pay for the damages.
“It is very disheartening when committee and volunteers of Newquay AFC Youth have put in so much of their time and hard work to make this a great place to play, to then come and see the damage.
“It was only recently painted inside and out before the football season started by myself, my son and another committee member, now, the committee have to spend some of our Christmas holidays painting over this eyesore.
“The police cannot do anything as there are no suspects and nobody was actually caught doing it or have been caught doing it.”
