The Probus Shindig & Vintage Rally is set to provide a weekend of entertainment when the annual village show returns on July 20 and 21.

The fun for all the family event will be boasting a variety of different vehicles including classic cars, tractors, motorcycles, stationary engines alongside the addition of live music, food and craft stalls and a licensed bar.

Before the weekend’s show begins an evening of laughter is in store when comedian Johnny Cowling will be live on stage in Probus on Thursday, July 18, at 7.30pm. The rally, which runs from 10am to 4.30pm on both days, will also welcome long-established band Jailhouse who will be performing on Saturday at 8pm.

All of Probus’ evening entertainment takes place in a large marquee and visitors are encouraged to bring fold-up chairs. During the two days of the rally the lively Irish band Black Velvet will also be providing live music.

Tickets for all performances are available from Probus Spar Shop and Probus Garage with donations going to Pancreatic Cancer UK in memory of Peter Vian.
