Cornish Mini Club’s annual Riviera Run is set to return on May’s early bank holiday weekend.

The prestigious event, which has been running since 1997, celebrates the magic of one of Britain’s greatest and much-loved cars while offering visitors with a fun-filled weekend of activities and entertainment.

Mini’s from far and wide will descend on Pentewan Sands Holiday Park on May 4 to 6 for three show days, with Saturday and Sunday being Mini’s only and Monday presenting an open car show where all makes and models of car will be welcomed in the showground.

As like every year there will be competitions for rocker cover racing, glow show, sound off, loudest exhaust and stereo as well as the show and shine and fancy-dress contests.

Brederedh Cornovii, a group of Viking-era combat reenactors portraying 10th to mid-11th century warriors, will be performing full combat battles at the Riviera Run on both days.

George Brown, Solid Foundation, Home Cut Bangs and Grizzly Paw are set to take the stage during the event performing live music, as well as Sunday evening boasting an evening of karaoke at the nearby Seahorse restaurant.
