A running group is making sure people in need in Newquay are well fuelled up for Christmas after taking on its annual festive run.
Newquay Roadrunners members jogged from their clubhouse at Newquay Sports Centre carrying their donations of food to Newquay Foodbank at St Michael’s Church.
John Beard from Newquay Roadrunners said: “We held a very successful Christmas food bank run.
“Around 50 members ran with food donations that they generously donated.
“We had a pasty and quiz back at our clubhouse at the sports centre afterwards.
“This is the third year we have done it and every year it gets bigger and better.”
Members have previously raised funds for Newquay Foodbank by taking part in a swim at Towan Beach during Easter.
