PUBLIC toilets in St Newlyn East have been shut following incidents of antisocial behaviour.
St Newlyn East Parish Council has decided to close the public conveniences in Station Road whilst the authority considers its options.
A council spokesperson said: “Despite asking several times, the anti-social behaviour at the public toilet on Station Road has continued.
“Therefore, the toilet has now been closed for a few days while options are considered.
“The parish council is extremely disappointed at having to take to this course of action but rudeness to our caretaker is not acceptable.
“Apologies for the inconvenience caused to the majority of our residents who use this facility as they should.”
