NEWQUAY pupils had lots of fun raising money for Children in Need.

Schoolchildren at Newquay Junior Academy wore "something spotty" for the day and a bake sale was staged, which raised £390 for the cause.

A school spokesperson said: “It’s been wonderful to see our academy filled with colour, spots, bear ears, and lots of cake.

“Thank you so much to everyone who donated cakes and biscuits. The children were full of pride when they dropped them off.

“Well done Team Newquay Junior Academy for the amount raised for Children in Need.”
