AN internationally renowned make-up artist is set to bring her talent from New York to Newquay.

Angie Parker is staging a Shop Parker pop-up at the luxury fashion and lifestyle store MMW in Fore Street by appointment between August 1 and 10.

The clean beauty expert will be holding workshops and consultations showing clients how to detox their makeup bag and refresh their look. There will also be Angie’s complimentary 15 minute make-up session.

Angie has more than 25 years’ experience working with some of the world’s biggest celebrities and for international and US publications such as i-D, Vogue, Dazed and Confused, Teen Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar and Vanity Fair.  

The Shop Parker pop-up event will be the first of its kind to be held outside of New York or London. 

The event has come about after Michelle and Perry Walsh, who founded MMW, were introduced to Angie by mutual friend Meg Matthews.

Angie said: “I am excited to bring my Shop Parker pop-up to MMW and the surrounding community and teach women how to easily upscale their beauty routine.”

Brands available at Shop Parker include some of Angie’s favourite skin products, such as Bonjout Beauty, French Farmacie, Apostle, RMS and Manasi7.
