A Newquay hotel has come to the rescue of Newquay RNLI to ensure the charity’s Christmas fundraiser goes ahead.
The Atlantic Hotel has offered to host the Newquay RNLI’s Christmas concert on Thursday, December 12 at 7.30pm.
The event was due to be held at the Hotel Victoria, which has closed following contracts being exchanged for its sale. Oll an Gwella and the St Mawgan Military Wives Choir will be among the performers.
A spokesperson for Newquay RNLI said: “With the sudden closure of the Hotel Victoria we feared our Christmas concert would have to be cancelled.
“Then the management of the Atlantic Hotel came to our rescue and offered their premises for the evening.
“There will be ample parking at the hotel and in the Dane Road car park. We hope to see everyone there.”
Tickets are priced at £5 and will be available on the door.
