A CLASSIC whodunnit is being staged in St Austell from Wednesday, March 19, to Saturday, March 22.
The St Austell Players are promising an evening filled with suspense as they present Agatha Christie’s play, A Murder Is Announced, at the St Austell Arts Centre.
A spokesperson for the group said: “This captivating adaptation brings to life Christie’s brilliant and intricate storytelling, promising audiences a thrilling theatrical experience.
“A Murder Is Announced centres around a mysterious advertisement in a local newspaper announcing that a murder will take place at the home of Miss Blacklock. When guests arrive at her house for the event, they soon find that the murder is indeed real, leading to chaos.
“Famed amateur sleuth Miss Marple steps in to unravel the mystery. As she investigates, she discovers hidden secrets, motives and the complex relationships among the characters.
