FIREFIGHTERS from St Austell are currently dealing with an incident at Carclaze in which an electricity pole is well alight.

Embers are falling onto the road below, which is closed.

The fire crew are keeping the public safe until National Grid engineers can isolate the power to allow the fire to be extinguished.
