A PROMINENT councillor has returned to the fold following a year out battling a brain tumour.
Cllr Kevin Towill, the town council representative for Trenance and the Cornwall councillor for Tretherras, has been attending meetings and getting stuck into “some big projects.”
He said: “It’s great to be back.
“I haven’t stopped with the casework as I’ve had my council laptop in hospital, and I was able to keep up with some of the work.
“But now I’m back I can catch up with things on the ground and some of the big projects.”
Mayor Drew Creek said: “I was delighted to welcome Cllr Towill back in the chamber at our full council meeting. Cllr Towill has remained in all our thoughts over the past year during his absence.
“As always Cllr Towill made poignant and meaningful contributions, and I look forward to working with him over the coming months.”
