Camborne Science & International Academy (CSIA) has announced an extraordinary achievement: out of 12 students who applied to Oxbridge this year, 9 have received offers - a 75 per cent success rate.
This accomplishment is significant especially considering that the national average for Oxbridge offers is just 16 per cent for Oxford and 18 per cent for Cambridge. Five applicants have secured places at the University of Oxford and 4 at the University of Cambridge.
In addition to the Oxbridge successes, CSIA is proud that student Amelia has received three offers from prestigious veterinary schools.

Many other CSIA students also have received outstanding offers from a range of top universities across the UK. As the school continues to support and nurture its students, these offers mark just the beginning of their bright futures ahead.
The Sixth Form provision at CSIA has been rated Outstanding by Ofsted and CSIA concentrate on providing comprehensive careers guidance to help students make informed decisions about their future pathways, whether that’s attending university, starting an apprenticeship or going straight into paid employment.
Emma Haase, principal of CSIA said: “This is an outstanding achievement, and I couldn’t be prouder of our students. To have 75 per cent of our Oxbridge applicants receive offers is a testament to their hard work, dedication, and passion for learning.
“It’s also a reflection of the exceptional support and guidance our staff have provided throughout the application process. We are incredibly proud of every one of our students and excited to see them embark on the next stage of their academic journeys.”
