Truro-based taxi company A2B Taxis Cornwall has won two prestigious awards. The firm, which trades throughout Cornwall and beyond, was named South West Regional Taxi Company of the Year award for the second year running, and took the UK & Ireland Taxi Company of the Year award for fleets under 300 vehicles.

Today’s fleet numbers 200 vehicles, from standard and executive cars to wheelchair-accessible taxis, driven by over 300 staff who completed 475,000 journeys in 2024 – more than 1,300 trips a day.

The company recently celebrated 25 years of service. Today’s customer benefits from 21st-century innovations including an app and real-time tracking.

Operations and business development director Dan McLachlan said the awards were “a testament to our team's hard work and unwavering commitment to serving the people of Cornwall”.
