Tregony Village Hall hosts two events in early March.

On Wednesday, March 5 (St Piran's Day), a Grand Charity Concert will take place from 7pm, featuring men's choir Rhos Keur and ladies’ choir the Tresillian Singers – plus special guest Harry Glasson, composer of Cornwall, My Home.

Admission is £10/£8 in advance. Proceeds will be split between mental health charity Man Down (Cornwall) and Penhaligon's Friends, which helps bereaved families and children. Contact Des Mennear for tickets on 01872 530357.

On Thursday, March 6, a health testing clinic will be held from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. Tests include vitamins B12 and D, diabetes, cholesterol, thyroid, iron count, kidney function and PSA (prostate). Booking is advised; call 01926 419959 or visit www.myhealthtests.org.uk
