Best known for its spicy sauces and city centre South African restaurant, Truro business Chorley’s is rebranding as Taste Tribe.

Founded by Bob Chorley and developed from a family recipe, Chorley’s Sauces earned a loyal following throughout Cornwall and beyond.

The reimagining marks a new chapter for the company as it embraces a broader vision. “Taste Tribe is about more than just sauce - it’s about building a community of food lovers who enjoy exploring new tastes, sharing experiences, and being part of something truly special,” said Shane Chorley, Bob’s son and the founder of Taste Tribe.

“The decision to rebrand reflects the company's evolution and commitment to exploring new and exciting culinary horizons while fostering a sense of belonging for those who share a love for extraordinary tastes.”

Taste Tribe will continue to offer its signature sauces, but with a new identity that represents diversity, adventure and a modern approach to food. The logo and packaging have been refreshed and the website revamped to make the brand more accessible and engaging for its growing customer base.

Taste Tribe is fostering a strong partnership with WAX Group and sister company WAX.EVENTS to collaborate on events throughout the year. The company will also return to Truro City FC to enhance the match day experience, and a Taste Tribe meal delivery service will come to Newquay very soon, bringing signature dishes and new creations straight to your door.

To celebrate the launch, Taste Tribe will offer a special limited edition Truro City FC themed sauce, based on the original mild recipe (now known as medium) with a label commemorating the first goal scored at Truro City FC’s new stadium. Only 200 bottles will be produced and are available exclusively at the Great Cornish Food Store in Truro or via www.taste-tribe.co.uk
