Newquay burst into 2025 with a spectacular fireworks display.
Hundreds of people watched the illuminations let off from the harbour to see in the new year in style.
A crowd gathered around Central Square for the countdown, which was illuminated onto the front of the Central Inn.
Many revellers wore fancy dress costumes for the occasion, which included the Mario Brothers and the Oompa-Loompas.
Others partied the night away in the various venues in the town centre.
Benn Perkins, the general manager of the Central Inn, said: “New Years Eve in Newquay is always such a great night.
“Many years ago (under previous management) they started the tradition of the countdown in Central Square to see in the New Year.
“This year was no exception, and it was brilliant. There was a fantastic atmosphere, the community was in good spirit, and it was great to see some continuing with fancy dress.
“We love the old Newquay traditions and always look forward to seeing in the new year with everyone joining us to watch the countdown and enjoy the amazing fireworks.”
