The countdown is under way for the Zombie Crawl in Newquay which will take place during the school half-term holiday.
Love Newquay, part of Newquay Business Improvement District (BID, is putting together a week of events in the town leading up to the Zombie Crawl on Saturday, October 28.
BID manager Mark Warren said: “Across the nation there are more and more crazy Halloween fans and the passion for this night of the blurring of the boundaries between the worlds of the living and the dead knows no bounds.
“Here in Newquay, we’ve seized upon the opportunity to optimise the creative craziness of it all in the most fun of ways.
“Last year we had families who travelled from the far north coast of Wales and lots who came down from the Midlands and the South East.
“And now, families can also fly in from a whole range of places with the year-round flight availability via Cornwall Airport.
“Throughout the spooky Newquay week, there’s so many extra options for families across a number of our local businesses. And then the epic Zombie Crawl is just one big eye-popping explosion of ghoulish energy and fun that anyone can take part in.
“We can’t wait to welcome visitors and locals alike for this super-sized spooky extravaganza, which brings the whole business and local community together at this point of the year!”
