Veterans, military personnel and representatives from various groups attended the Newquay Royal British Legion’s parade on Sunday morning.

Led by St Austell Town Band the procession marched from Fore Street to St Michael’s Church where a Remembrance Service was conducted by Reverend Jane Kneebone.

Various groups and dignitaries attended the parade and service including Newquay MP Steve Double, Newquay Air Cadets, Newquay Army Cadets, councillors, Newquay Coastguard, Newquay Fire Station, Newquay Ambulance Station, Newquay Police, Newquay RNLI, Newquay Women’s Institute, Beaches and Cream WI, Lions groups, scouts and guides.

Wreaths were laid at the Newquay War Memorial following the church service.
