Dates for Truro city centre’s Christmas events have been revealed.
Friday, November 22 is Festive Friday, aka the Christmas Lights Switch-on. Entertainment will begin at 5pm, presented by Johnny Cowling and Lucy Start, and the lights will be switched on at 7pm.
The same date will also see the return to Lemon Quay of Truro Christmas Market, hosted by Truro Farmers Market and Cornwall Event Cabins.
On Wednesdays and Saturdays from November 23, the Boscawen Street Market will feature festive gifts and produce from local and independent makers, along with street food.
Wednesday Late-Night Shopping will begin on November 27, offering a traffic-free retail experience until 9pm. The first event will be launched by Father Christmas, who will parade around the city in his sleigh at 6.30pm, accompanied by dancers, musicians and circus performers.
