Tresco, the second-biggest island of the Isles of Scilly, will host its inaugural Festival of Wellness on March 14-22.
The week of wellbeing will offer a blend of activities curated for all abilities, designed to nurture the mind, body, and soul following the winter months.
The classes and workshops will be led by renowned wellness practitioners and experts, ensuring a unique experience in one of the UK’s most serene island settings.
Guests can enjoy a programme throughout the week including mindful meditation sessions led by island yogi Gem Hansen, invigorating trail runs showing the island from a new perspective with ultrarunner Wez Swain and immersive garden experiences with Andrew Lawson, head gardener of Tresco Abbey Garden.
Event Coordinator, Agnes Chapman Wills, said: “As any regular visitors will know, Tresco lends itself perfectly to wellness. Here, we are surrounded by the elements, are guided by the rhythm of the tides and are part of a landscape that is simultaneously dramatic and peaceful.
“The Festival of Wellness will offer guests a wonderful programme of events, in turn showcasing how we can benefit from nature and find tranquillity in our busy world.”
