TRENANCE Cottages is staging daytime family friendly spooky fun to celebrate Hallowe’en.

The non-scary afternoon will include making a Halloween craft plus indoor games and activities on Sunday, October 27 between 2pm and 5pm.

The cottages is also organising ‘Where’s Dracula hiding’ raffle board at 50p a go and pumpkin races down the stream half hourly from 2.30pm to 4.30pm £1 per pumpkin

The new light display with spooky colours will light up the cottages at dusk at about 4.30pm. The cafe is staging an all-day barbecue, spooky cakes and drinks available until 7pm.

The entrance to the cottages will be £3 per child.

The light display will be on at the cottages between October 27 to October 31 to give Trenance Valley a spooky feel.

Garden Café and Trenance Cottages were awarded the grant for the light display by Experience Newquay, which aims to enhance the celebrations for Halloween, Christmas, and St Piran's Week. Various events and performances will be staged at the cottages during the light displays.
