Children can swim for just £1 before 10am in any swim for all session this half term at GLL’s nine Cornish leisure centres.
Additional swimming sessions are being organised and so, too, are junior gym and junior fitness classes.
“Keeping youngsters amused during their February half term break can be challenging – especially when the weather is bad,” said Amelia Kitchen, GLL senior manager.
“That’s why we’ve expanded our swimming pool programme so families can take a dip together and make a splash, whilst also laying on intensive swimming lessons for those who need to improve their water skills.
“Burning off some energy in a class or gym is fun as well as healthy and, for those with aspirations to be the next Wimbledon star, there are tennis courses at Bodmin Leisure Centre.
“Our soft play areas at both St Austell and Newquay Leisure World are a big hit with younger children and our large trampoline park in Newquay has a whole host of interactive features to keep every age group happy and well entertained.
“It’s important to check individual centre websites and timetables to see what’s offered and when.”
Operating under the Better brand, GLL is a not-for-profit social enterprise and workers’ cooperative that runs centres in Bude, Saltash, Liskeard, Bodmin, St Austell, Newquay, Truro, Helston and St Ives.
