SPRING has sprung at Trelissick near Truro with Rhododendrons of every colour in bloom and delicate blooms of the 100-year-old wisteria blanketing the outer walls of the former Kitchen Garden.
Visitors from now until June can see the exotic garden’s bounty of late spring flowers including the later flowering Rhododendron's Camellia's and early Hydrangeas.

Last month, Trelissick hosted a spring celebration with displays, activities and games to welcome in the new season, which was an expansion on their traditional daffodil weekend.
This year the garden team wanted to celebrate not just the daffodils but also the camellias, rhododendrons, magnolias, and many more that fill the garden with colour at this time of year.
Next week, the Trelissick Gallery will be opening an enchanting exhibition celebrating 70 years of the National Trust.
The exhibition, which opens on Saturday, May 3, will featuring a selection of ceramics, printmaking, textiles, jewellery, wood, glass and sculpture.
