A redundant basketball hoop could be replaced with a new mini skate ramp under plans submitted to Cornwall Council.
St Erth Parish Council is seeking to install the new facility at St Erth Playing Field.
The application states that the basketball facility consists of a single hoop with a concrete surround and is not a full size court.
The parish council wants to replace this with a half-pipe skate ramp.
Along with the concrete ramp there will also be some seating provided next to the new facility and grass around it.
The application states that two small trees will have to be removed to make way for the ramp but these will be replaced by the parish council.
