POLICE investigating a report of assault in Truro have released pictures of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.

It happened in Victoria Square at approximately 11.45pm on Friday, February 16.

A man was knocked unconscious and sustained serious head and facial injuries which required hospital treatment.

A police spokesperson said: “Police investigating the incident would like to identify the man pictured as they believe he may be able to assist with their enquiries.

“The quality of the images is low, however, at this time they are the only images the police have and hope that the public may be able to assist.”
