TRURO High School for Girls has become only the third UK girls’ school to be awarded the prestigious status of “World Class School”.

The school has spent two years introducing the framework and philosophy of High Performance Learning (HPL), to equip students with advanced cognitive skills and the essential values, attitudes and attributes needed for lifelong success.

Headmistress Sarah Matthews praised “the diligent work of staff and students”, adding: “HPL will ensure our girls have the skills and habits of mind to ensure they are successful learners who stand out in any field, with the confidence to think for themselves and drive their own learning and professional development.”
