The family friendly event showcased vintage steam engines, cars, bikes, military and engines, a brand new 4X4 Land Rover off-roading track, Trekenning Muckshifters dancing diggers, a tractor parade, a craft tent, trade stands and a working section.

There was also mower racing, a brand-new pedal bike dirt track, line dancing, pedal vehicle play area, fairground rides, circus performers, climbing wall and a vintage tearoom.

Live evening entertainment was staged, which included Johnny Cowling as well as Treviglas Academy bands Spiral and Reset.

Organisers had to call off the event on Sunday to minimise damage to the field due to the wet weather.

A Rally spokesperson said: “The rally began with rain, but it was a delightful turnaround when the sun came out, and the show continued.

“There was an epic afternoon of fun in the main ring, entertainment in the tent, muddy mower racing and 4X4 off-roading.

“We’ve had so much lovely feedback from visitors telling us how they couldn’t believe just how much there was to see and do and what a great atmosphere there was.

“There are so many thank-yous to go around, but for now, on behalf of St Mawgan Rally, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who came through the gates, both day and night, and helped make our 20th rally another unforgettable one.

“Unfortunately, we had to call off the event on Sunday to minimise damage to the field.”
