The event, which supports local charities, will showcase vintage steam engines, cars, bikes, military and engines, tractor pulling, a brand new 4x4 Land Rover off-roading track, craft tent, trade stands, working section, dog agility and a fun dog show.

There will also be Cornish wrestling, racing mowers, a brand-new pedal bike dirt track, line dancing, pedal vehicle play area, fairground rides, circus performers, climbing wall and a vintage tearoom.

Live evening entertainment will be staged over the weekend, which will include Johnny Cowling, Britpop indie rock band Spiral and Reset, which plays nineties rock classics.

A spokesperson said: “There is always something happening in the main arena at St Mawgan Rally.

“We have tractor formation teams, dancing diggers, vehicle parades, and so much more but we don’t just leave it to the main ring we have a whole 40 acres to play with.

“This fabulous community charity fund raising event has a real interactive feel.”
