Students and staff at Pool Academy, based at Church Road, Redruth, are celebrating their GCSE results as they get ready to take their next steps in their education journey.
The Academy, part of the Athena Learning Trust family of schools, has achieved a year of brilliant results for their students. The whole Academy community is incredibly proud of all its students.
Everyone has come together to mark the achievements of all the students, who have worked exceptionally hard to secure these grades over the past couple of years.
Alongside the continued success of the academy, particular individual highlights include:
· Charlotte S who achieved 6 Grade 9s in Maths, 2 Sciences, Geography, Sociology, Food and Nutrition and 2 Grade 8s in English Literature and English Language.
· Ruby P who achieved 3 Grade 9s in English Literature, History and Biology and 3 Grade 8s in Chemistry, Drama and Maths.
· Sam R who achieved 3 Grade 9s in Biology, Food and Nutrition and Maths and 2 Grade 8s in Physics and Chemistry.
· Saffire W who achieved 3 Grade 9s in English Language, English Literature and History and 1 Grade 8 in Drama and Theatre Studies.
