A popular band will be bringing the pomp of the Royal Albert Hall to Newquay’s parish church.

Mount Charles Band will be staging The Last Night of the Proms at St Michael's Church on Saturday, September 21.

There will also be special guest appearances performing all the favourites at the event, which is being organised by St Michael Lodge and sponsored by Start and Co Estate Agents.

Andy Cole, who is helping to organise the event, said: “Were pleased to announce back by popular demand for one night only The Last Night of the Proms.

“Why not dress up in your nation’s colours. Bring your flags to wave. We will have them for sale too.”
