POLICE are seeking witnesses and information after a man died following a collision in Newquay.

Emergency services were called following the collision between a blue Vauxhall Corsa and a silver Peugeot 5008 on Rialton Road on Monday, April 29 at 12.10pm.

The Peugeot driver, a man in his 80s from Newquay, was taken to hospital with serious injuries but later passed away on May 1.

Officers are carrying out enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the collision and would like to hear from any witnesses or from anyone with relevant dashcam footage.
