POLICE are investigating an alleged robbery in St Austell.

Officers were called at around 1.30pm on Sunday, August 4, to a store on Alexandra Road where it was reported a cashier had been threatened with a knife by two people.

A police spokesperson said the robbers, who had demanded money, went behind the till and stole multiple vapes.

“Police have identified two males they wanted to speak to in connection with the incident following a photo-appeal and would like to thank members of the public for their support.”
