POLICE were called at 5.10pm yesterday evening (August 6) to a report of a three-vehicle collision on the A390 on Penpillick Hill, Par.

The collision involved a blue BMW, a grey Volkswagen Golf and a blue Volvo.

As a result of the collision, the driver of the Volvo, a man in his 50s, sustained serious injuries. He was taken to hospital where he remains.

Officers have thanked the public for their patience while they investigated the scene.
