POLICE are appealing for help identifying these men in connection with a serious assault which took place on St Austell Street, Truro, shortly before 5pm on Saturday, August 17.

Emergency services responded to a report of two people having suffered stab wounds in the street.

A 31-year-old woman and a 42-year-old man were taken to hospital with serious injuries. Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

A 42-year-old man from Truro has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm without intent. He has since been released on police bail.

Investigating officers are keen to identify the two men pictured, as it is believed they may be able to help with enquiries.
