PEOPLE are being offered free help and support with their hearing at Newquay Library.
Volunteers from the charity R.N.I.D will be giving free hearing checks, NHS hearing aid checks including batteries, re-tubing and cleaning as well as general advice on Wednesday, May 7 between 10am and 12pm as part of Deaf Awareness Week.
A spokesperson for RNID said: “Your hearing is precious.
“Come and speak to us about all things related to hearing loss and get answers to your questions.
“Take a quick three-minute hearing check to see if you are showing signs of hearing loss for over 18’s who don’t already have a diagnosed hearing loss.
“This is a free community session so need to book either.”
