An owl attraction near St Columb Major is staging a special day on Saturday (May 11) for visitors to learn more about British wildlife and conservation.

Screech Owl Sanctuary and Animal Park is holding its Spring British Wildlife and Conservation Day between 10am and 4pm.

The attraction will be joined by various groups on the day including the Cornwall Bat Group, National Lobster Hatchery, British Divers Marine Rescue and the Cornwall Seal Group.

There will be various activities for visitors to enjoy such as face painting and pond dipping.

A spokesperson said: “We will be hosting a number of local organisations who work in Cornwall to conserve our natural environment.”
