A PARTY in the Park in St Austell enjoyed fine weather at the weekend.
Stepping Stones Nursery held its annual fun day in Poltair Park on Saturday.
The event, which featured face painting, children’s games and rides, was attended by members of the community and various organisations.
Those in the park for the occasion included representatives of the Coastguard and the Blood Bikes charity as well as St John Ambulance members who gave demonstrations.
Chaos Radio added to the party atmosphere and there were craft and volunteer stalls.
Organiser Julie Double said on Saturday: “Once again we’ve been blessed by this fantastic weather.
“I would like to thank everyone that attended and enjoyed themselves today as well as the stallholders for supporting us too.
“A big shout out goes to Chaos Radio for providing the sounds and also to the Coastguard and Blood Bikes for attending too.”
