NEWQUAY Library’s popular summer reading challenge is set to get underway.

The theme is ‘Marvellous Makers’ and will be held between Saturday, July 6, until Friday, September 13.

Primary school age children can sign up and read six books over the summer and receive fun rewards. A certificate will be sent to their schools in the autumn.

Kathy McGoldrick from Newquay Library said: “It’s completely free and here at Newquay Library we will be having various activity mornings during the summer holidays.

“We’ll also have the mini challenge on as well for under fours.”
