A NEWQUAY classroom was transformed into a Victorian school for pupils to learn about what life was like to be a child in the 1800’s.
Schoolchildren and staff in Year 2 at Trenance Learning Academy took part in a Victorian Day.
Children and staff dressed up for the occasion and took part in Victorian games as well as bake Victorian biscuits.
Pupils also did their class work on a slate and the classroom was lit up by candlelight.
A spokesperson for Trenance said: “It was a wonderful way to dive deep into their new topic. Well done Year 2 for a magnificent day and for some incredible outfits.”
