A NEW bridge is being installed at Trenance Gardens.

Cormac, on behalf of Cornwall Council, is erecting an accessible bridge to make it easier for wheelchair users to cross. The former bridge had reached the end of its lifespan.

Councillor Olly Monk said: “I am really pleased that this bridge is being replaced with a new accessible one.

“One you can wheel yourself over on a wheelchair the old one was humped.

“The old bridge had reached the end of its lifespan and needing replacing. Thanks to Cormac and the funding I managed to secure the new structure will provide access across the stream for years to come.”
