A MOTORCYCLIST received serious injuries after being involved in a collision with a van on the A30 at Mitchell on Thursday night (April 10).
Emergency services were called to a report of a collision involving a Honda motorcycle and a white Ford Transit Connect at around 7.10pm.
A local man in his sixties, who was the rider of the motorcycle, was injured in the collision.
The road was closed while emergency services dealt with the scene and an investigation was commenced.

A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said: “We are appealing for witnesses and information following a serious road traffic collision on the A30 westbound at Mitchell.
“Officers from the Roads Policing Team would like to thank the public for their patience whilst the road was closed.”
