Emergency services carried out a major search on Friday after concerns were raised for the welfare of a man who has been reported missing from the Newquay area.
Newquay Coastguard Rescue Team were tasked to search the Newquay area at 9.45am alongside HM Coastguard Padstow, St Agnes Coastguard Search & Rescue Team, RNLI Lifeguards Newquay and both Newquay RNLI Lifeboats to assist Devon & Cornwall Police.
The casualty was located after an extensive search of the surrounding area. The man was taken to hospital by friends following treatment from clinical staff. The emergency teams were finally stood down at 1pm.
A spokesperson for Newquay Coastguard Search and Rescue Team said: “Great multi agency coordination and response.
