EMERGENCY services saved the life of a man who had a suspected heart attack whilst swimming at Fistral Beach.
Fistral RNLI lifeguards, Cornwall Air Ambulance, Newquay Coastguard Search and Rescue Team and the ambulance service attended the incident on Tuesday, August 13, at about 5pm.
The man was resuscitated on the beach by medics. He was later reportedly seen sitting up and talking to the medical team.
The air ambulance initially landed on Fistral Beach before relocating to the golf course.
A spokesperson for Newquay Coastguard said: “Special mention for the lifeguards and their quick response and actions taken.”
