A MAN who was found unconscious on a street in St Columb Major has died.
On Sunday, October 20, police officers and ambulance crews were called to Springfield Place after a man in his 30s had become unwell.
A police spokesperson explained: “Police were called to Springfield Place, St Columb Major, at around 7.55am on Sunday, October 20, following reports of a man becoming unwell.
“The ambulance service was also called and on arrival found the man unconscious.
“Despite the best efforts of the emergency services, a local man in his 30s was pronounced deceased at the scene.
“His death is not being treated as suspicious. A file will be prepared for HM Coroner.”
